Omawumi Dispels Rumors Of Her Daughter’s Paternity

The rumors were very strong earlier this week that Omawumi’s baby daddy was a current governor in Nigeria. According to the stories floating on the internet over the past couple of days, the wife of the said Governor had apparently threatened Omawumi and warned her not to come to the state which the Governor holds power. Even though the story sounded suspect, Omawumi has come out to confirm via her twitter page that all these are lies and false rumors. Via twitter she stated “its sad cos they write lies and ppl actually believe it. My daughter, her father(who is single and yummy btw) and i are fine” About 2 years ago, Omawumi gave birth to a baby girl in the US, and has since refused to reveal the paternity of her daughter. Very inquisitive sources have since made various allegations in an attempt to determine the true paternity of her daughter.
