Raincoat season: 180,000 teenagers in Nigeria are living with HIV, says UNICEF
According to the United Nations Children Education Fund
(UNICEF), over 180,000 Nigerian teenagers are living with
HIV.
This latest figure was released during a national dialogue on
adolescents living with HIV in Nigeria, organized by the
Positive Action for Treatment Access (PATA) in
collaboration with UNICEF and the National Agency for
the Control of AIDS (NACA), a non-governmental
organization working to ensure that every individual has
access to equitable health services.
Let’s try to abstain, people! If you can’t, use a condom!
AIDs has no cure yet! Do not risk your future!
