Pretty and talented music act, Chinenye Aharanwa, popularly known as Kryztal, is fast becoming a household name. This amiable singer is by all means a sweet looking young lady. When we contacted this versatile singer, who has just recorded another single titled ‘Okro’ to confirm the story, she said: “It is true one of my fans based abroad, Bukola Adegbite, communicated with me and said he is so crazy about my songs and performance. He told me he has a Porch Cayon car and N13million gift for me. I rejected the car gift and his N13million because I don’t know him. I have to be sure of who he is before accepting his gifts.” Kryztal, whose singles, ‘Ofo Owerri’ and ‘As E Dey Hot’, are currently enjoying airplay and Internet promotions, also reacted to the impression that female artistes are próstitutes. She stated that “it’s a wrong impression, it’s very shameful to label female entertainers as próstitutes. Being a próstitute is a personal thing irrespective of your profession.” She revealed that what sells in today’s music is age and séx and it doesn’t mean you have to sleep with someone but look séxy on stage. What you wear on stage is not necessarily what you wear on the road. You put on séxy wears on stage to gain your fans’ attention. The endowed musician, who is signed under Heavy Metal Music with Palleson Joe, is a graduate of pure and industrial chemistry. Formerly a member of Gloria Ibru’s band, she has performed on stage with great musicians like Ras-Kimono, Shina Peters, 2face Idibia, Alex O, Mike Okri, Oritz Wiliki and Kween among others.
