Top 13 Nigerian Albums Of 2013
I couldn’t believe the above title too. While we
danced to all the seemingly random hits, we
Nigerians had no idea that the consistent hit
songs & chart-toppers which had thrilled us
this year were off albums.
Yes! The year 2013 threw up a number of
albums, each one representing the various
genres that have slowly permeated the
Nigerian music industry. We have the Highlife
and Afro Pop albums (released by KCee,
Solidstar and Waconzy), Hip hop (Ice Prince),
Alternative (Brymo), Indigenous (Olamide,
Reminisce) and reggae (Jesse Jagz).
Pulse.ng presents the Top 13 albums of 2013.
We also have the dark horses too. Those
albums which huffed and bluffed, but couldn’t
make the top ratings.
