Following his Tuesday, January 26 courtesy visit to Osun state, Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state, has expressed his resolve to remain in the Peoples Democratic Party.
During his visit to Osogbo, the state capital, the governor informed Governor Rauf Aregbesola that he will stay put in the PDP, because opposition parties are needed for democracy to thrive.
Fayose however, said his visit was not for a political purpose, but to converse on issues that affects the Yoruba nation.
The governor also admonished those whom he described as ‘promoting dictatorship’ to be wary of ending up in the stomach of the dictator.
